Well, it's 2005. I can't believe I'm already sec 4... I feel so old =(.
2004 was a great year. I had many many oppurtunities to grow- spiritually, emotionally, socially etc. 3a1 was fantastic (: . I'm glad there'll be a 4a1 with all the same people in it this year.
2004 didn't end so wonderfully though. The earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9... and how could anyone forget the tsunamis? I heard that in one village in Sri Lanka, all the children in a village died... so sad.
The sermon in church yesterday really gave me a lot to reflect on. Matthew 24 . War will continue to unfold, and earthquakes continue to occur... both on a larger scale. Not because God doesn't love us, but because we humans have committed terrible sins. The end is near. Very near. But thankfully, God has provided a way out- with the escalation of catastrophe, the gospel will be preached more widely (verse 14). Verse 35- Heaven and earth will pass away, but God's words will never pass away.
He IS the way, the truth, and the life.
